Quality
Quality at Swadeshi CIPL is a way of life and a way of thought. We think, live and act quality because there is no substitute. Its lack shows clearly and causes mounting dissatisfaction. In construction, quality starts with design and goes on with the selection of the right processes and inputs. Quality is important for us in finishing as well because aesthetics depend on it.
It is our standard policy to have a separate quality team associated with each project and to define a set of quality standards for each aspect along with monitoring, checks and testing to ensure perfect outcomes, customer satisfaction and lasting value in our construction. Qualified and experienced engineers supervise each aspect of construction with meticulous checks at each stage to assure quality.
Quality also defines our customer services and support. Our staff is trained to deliver prompt and courteous responses at all times. Our efforts are directed at conducting business in a way that precludes any issues but should there be any issue, we work at resolution to satisfy our clients.
Safety
Safety of workers and safety of visitors is a prime consideration for us when we undertake projects of any size. We follow international guidelines for occupational health and safety of people working on construction sites and make it mandatory for everyone to wear appropriate protection.
Construction involves a variety of activities such as excavation, use of power tools, working at heights and handling of heavy materials. We consider all possible risks involved in each type of activity and put in place safety processes that minimize risk to workers. Dust and inhalation of corrosive particles is also a threat to workers’ health. We implement use of safety masks in such cases. Our safety processes also include training workers to handle equipment and materials so that they can avoid accidents such as falling objects, electrocution or vehicle crashes while working efficiently.
Implementing safety measures and providing safety equipments to workers on construction sites, is of paramount importance to us. We value each life and would never want anyone to be at risk, knowingly or unknowingly.
Environment
Construction activity can disrupt the environment and cause damage to biodiversity and also pollute water bodies or result in harm to trees. We are well aware of all possible impacts of construction activities on the environment and take the utmost care. Our prime concern is to protect the environment even as we carry on with our construction activities.
Construction activity might involve excavation and modifying the landscape. Whenever we carry out these activities we take steps to ensure that the surroundings are not harmed, damaged or polluted. Construction also generates a huge amount of rubble. We make sure that such rubble is cleared promptly and does not spread to the surroundings and cause damage to the fragile ecosystem.
When buildings are constructed and put to use, the sewerage lines, people using a variety of chemicals and HVAC systems can also impact the environment. Our design itself anticipates all these factors and implements disposal of wastes and efficient implementation of HVAC systems to have the least impact.
